Sometimes I get excited by the oddest of things.
Like, say, potato hand and foot cream, as spotted on my travels to Zürich this weekend.
I would, of course, be far more excited if the stuff were edible, and would prefer a serving of Swiss rösti anyday, but that didn’t stop me from recording the discovery all the same. Nor, for that matter, did it stop me from wondering just what it was that made the humble spud a good candidate for skin cream in the first place. Whatever it is though, I can safely guarantee that it’s not a patch on what makes the spud a permanently good candidate for my plate.
